Latin America will always be a special place for me. It’s where I started The Happy Nomad Tour and spent nine months of my life traveling, volunteering, and getting to know another way of life. I also finally learned Spanish
In this series I will share “The Best Of Latin America” in pictures. The pictures won’t do it justice, but nothing could…
License Plates
In Honduras I got the idea to take pictures of license plates everywhere I went. I’m not sure why. I guess I’ve always been interested in license plates. I remember being in the car on long-distance trips looking out the window looking for “foreign” (from other states) license plates to pass the time and imagine what life was like in far away places like Alabama, Colorado, or Arizona.
I guess that never fully went away…
Below are the license plates in chronological order:
- Mexico
- Guatemala
- Honduras
- El Salvador
- Nicaragua
- Costa Rica
- Panama
- Colombia
- Venezuela
- Ecuador
- Peru
Flags
Quite a few countries had huge flags in big plazas. Along the way I captured some images of flags that I’ll share below.
- Mexico
- Guatemala
- El Salvador – Kind Of
- Costa Rica
- Panama
- Colombia
- Peru
About Adam Pervez
In mid-2011 I left my cushy corporate job and took the plunge into a life incorporating my passions of traveling, writing, volunteering, learning, educating, and telling stories.
