At a grocery store in Raleigh, a sign offering “spanish foods.” Apart from not capitalizing Spanish, what they really mean is Latin American foods – and mostly Mexican at that. Spanish food comes from Spain.

Now that I’m back in the U.S., I guess I am eating English food?
