Petra
Petra is all it is cracked up to be, and I can say that about few places I’ve visited. A gift left over from the Nabataean civilization possibly some 2300 years ago, it’s a living UNESCO World Heritage Site with Bedouins still living inside it. One would need a few days to fully explore Petra, but many walk to see the Treasury Building’s façade and then turn around and leave. Whether you just see the façade or explore more of the site, no visit to Jordan is complete without seeing Petra.
