Farewell Fiesta
Farewell
It was hard saying goodbye even though my next destination was “home,” though my immediate family no longer lives there. I had great things planned for my Crazy Hair Fundraiser, etc. But Latin America is a special place that really grew on me.
Toward the end of my time there, many things bothered me. I wrote a whole post about the things I truly disliked about Latin America but decided not to publish it. Still, there’s a ton TO like. But I’ve always said this trip is about the people, and that’s why saying goodbye was so hard. I was surrounded people I love, and who love me.
Below are some pictures of the low-key, perfect farewell fiesta.
Getting Punched In The Face
Daniel, the tall guy in the group picture above, showed us some pictures on his phone. One looked like he had just been punched in the face and, well, looked absolutely horrible!
He showed us how he got such an awesome picture. You just relax your face and then shake it back and forth and have the camera take your picture. I decided to give it a try.
I did ok, but Daniel had, by far, the funniest picture. 🙂
One Happy Nomad
In the end, Latin America has been an amazing experience – more amazing than I ever could have imagined. All the makings for a really happy nomad…
